  1. The Booking

First, we review your booking time. Let’s schedule a call to discuss your session and what you’re expecting! I’ll review your portrait session questionnaire and talk about what your experience will be with Rhode Island Portraits at the photography helm.

2. The Session

On the day of the session, you and your family or hype squad just have to show up and I’ll take it from there. Don’t worry if everything isn’t perfect, that’s why I am here. Portraits I know can be stressful for many people. Standing in front of a lens, suddenly everything you do normally becomes an alien gesture. Suddenly your hands become these things that have no purpose other than to exacerbate any and all awkwardness you are experiencing. But there’s no reason to freak out. I’ve got you. You just show up, let me be in change and I’ll work to make the perfect day for you. Your job is to show up and have fun.

Heads up tip! : You’ll want to set aside at least an extra half-hour in addition to your portrait shooting time. Even though the working session starts and ends promptly, you’ll want time to take in the environment prior to the start of your session and definitely time to come down from the session high you’re going to experience! It’s a fun roller-coaster ride!

3. The Premiere

I do things a little different. Right after your shoot, we schedule a time to come and sit with me for a small snack, to view your photos in the next 3-5 days. This is where you’ll be able to see the best of the best, choose and then pay for what you want to display on the walls in your home.

Heads up tip! Most of my client spend $500 or more on products in addition to the collection purchases for themselves. Your images make great gift for friends and family too! It’s important to budget for these items before hand, as we finalize all products orders at the time of the session. Seriously, you’re going to want more than you realize. This is a great time to familiarize yourself with my packages.

4. The Delivery

In 2-3 weeks, I’ll call and notify you that your art is ready. We meet up to review your order to ensure it is perfect and just what you ordered. If you’re not local, then I will ship it right to your home.

And then you beautify your home.
