The Booking - Next Steps
First, we confirm your booking time. I’m going to send out a questionnaire that will gather a little more information about you and what you plan to do with your pictures.
Second, I’m going to schedule a quick call to discuss your session and what you’re expecting! On the call, we’ll review your questionnaire and talk about what your experience will be with Rhode Island Portraits at the photography helm.
I’ll be sharing a style guide to help you pick out your outfits, and get you ready for the session.
2. The Session
On the day of the session, you and your family or significant other just have to show up and I’ll take it from there. Don’t worry if everything isn’t perfect, that’s why I am here. Portraits I know can be stressful for many people. Standing in front of a lens, suddenly everything you do normally becomes an alien gesture. Suddenly your hands become these things that have no purpose other than to exacerbate any and all awkwardness you are experiencing. But there’s no reason to freak out. I’ve got you. You just show up, let me be in change and I’ll work to make the perfect day for you. Your job is to show up and have fun.
Heads up tip!
You’ll want to set aside at least an hour and a half. Since our session is just 15 minutes long, we will finish much sooner, but you’ll want to spend the rest of time enjoying the beauty of the fields. Take a day off of work, treat it like a mini vacation.
3. The Premiere
I do things a little different. Right after your shoot, we schedule a time to view your photos in the next 3-5 days. This is where you’ll be able to see the best of the best, choose and then pay for what you want to display on the walls in your home.
Heads up tip!
Most of my client spend $500 or more on photographic art and signature books make great gift for friends and family It’s important to budget for these items before hand, as we finalize all products orders at the time of the session.
4. The Delivery
During the reveal, you’ll be able to select and download your favorite digital images. In the event that you want to order prints or artwork, you can do that at the reveal session. In 2-3 weeks, I’ll call and notify you that your art is ready. We meet up to review your order to ensure it is perfect and just what you ordered. If you’re not local, then I will ship it right to your home.
And then you beautify your home.
