Family Farm Portrait Session

Krystal and Matt’s family grew by adding a new fur baby, so they had a photography session to celebrate. Animals are a big part of Krystal’s life. Her family owns 15 acres of open land in Blackstone, MA, on which they house various animals. There are domesticated like horses, mini-mules, chickens, ponies, and undomesticated like deer, raccoons, plus whatever happens to stray by.

Since I photographed their wedding, Krystal and Matt knew that I loved animals, but I don’t think they realized I love them at a distance. Especially huge two-ton horses. I’m comfortable with those types of animals from far, far away.

It was a fun session! Family photography is not isolated to just parents and children. It’s important to photograph yourselves and ensure that you are taking time to take pictures of the growth of your relationship. So many couples stop taking professional photographs of themselves after their wedding day. That’s a shame! Be like Krystal and Matt! Make sure you make time for pictures!
